He and 18 others have been indicted on multiple counts, including racketeering, in a 41-charge document issued by the Fulton County grand jury. This indictment marks the fourth time that Mr. Trump has faced criminal charges this year alone. He has vehemently denied these accusations in all cases. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis initiated an investigation in February 2021 into allegations of election interference involving Trump and his associates. Among the individuals indicted late on Monday night are former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, former White House lawyer John Eastman, and a former Justice Department official, Jeffrey Clark. DSS Moves to Withdraw 'Firearms' Charge Against Former CBN Governor, Files 20 Fresh Charges. The Nigerian government has announced that they have filed new charges against the suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele. Addressing reporters in court on Tuesday, Mohammed Bakodo Abubakar, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for the federal ministry of justice, made this statement. The case against Emefiele was heard at the Federal High Court in Lagos. The federal government, through the Department of State Security (DSS), has initiated the process of withdrawing the charges against the suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. This new development occurred in court on Tuesday when the DSS filed another application against the former CBN chief.
